NUST celebrates partnership with NetSol Technologies

NUST Endowment for Educational Development (NEED) Initiative celebrated its long-term partner Mr. Najeeb Ghouri – CEO of NetSol Technologies on receiving Sitara-i-Imtiaz for his services to Pakistan. Owing to his philanthropic spirit and focus on uplifting the marginalized youth, he has been supporting NUST’s development initiatives since 2017. He is also a member Board of Trustees of NUST Trust Fund (NTF).

With the mission to build Pakistan through transformative higher education, NUST has been enabling the brightest minds of the country to receive world-class education irrespective of their financial limitations. Since the launch of this initiative in 2015, more than 1800 brilliant students have been able to pursue their dream of education with the help of 769 cause partners from 12 countries. Over the span of these past five years, NUST has expanded the support network through collaborations with independent philanthropists and organisations nationally and on international platforms.

During his visit to NUST, Mr. Najeeb Ghouri also signed an agreement to formalise the establishment of three permanent endowment seats for the benefit of financially challenged students at NUST. His delegation, including Mr. Faizan Ghouri and Ms. Momina Mustehsan, visited National Sciences and Technology Park (NSTP) for a detailed orientation on innovation & research infrastructure of the university, with an aim to explore further collaborative avenues.
