NUST hosts Italian Ambassador Ferrarese
Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese, visited NUST last week to deliver a talk on Pak-Italy diplomacy and interact with students & faculty members.
He was greeted by Engr Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Rector NUST, Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Principal SEECS, and Principal NIPCONS, Muhammad Salim Raza.
Rector NUST and H.E. exchanged views on the mutual interests of both countries related to science & technology. Dr. Nosherwan Shoaib, Associate Professor at SEECS, delivered a speech on NUST and the background of the talk.
H.E. shared his experience in various capacities and discussed Pakistan-Italy relationships and UN peacekeeping missions. H.E also highlighted how public, economic and cultural diplomacy can strengthen the relationship between both countries.
A healthy Q/A session was held during the second half of the event, which ended with a note of thanks to H.E and his team.
