NUST partners with Atlas Honda

To drive innovation in the field of electric mobility in Pakistan, NUST has partnered with Atlas Honda to leverage academic expertise and benefit from top-notch research facilities available within the university. To kick off this joint collaboration, the senior management team of Atlas Honda paid a visit to NUST on January 30, 2024. As a symbolic gesture of their collaborative partnership and a commitment to delve further into research, Atlas Honda presented their recently launched electric vehicle motorcycle, the Honda BENLY e to the management at NUST.

On this occasion, senior representatives from Atlas Honda, including Mr Shunsuke Miyazaki, Mr Iftekhar H. Shirazi, Mr Afaq Ahmad, Mr Sadullah Ejaz, and Mr M Yawar Farooq were in attendance. Dr Saeed Ur Rehman Sarwar, DG Projects, alongside NUST Advancement Office, received the guests. As a concluding note, Dr Saeed expressed appreciation for the collaboration between industry and academia. He emphasized that these projects will not only facilitate testing of EV motorcycles for local use but also provide a platform for suggesting improvements in various aspects, making EVs a more widely accepted option for commuters nationwide.
