NUST Placement Office Celebrates Successful Conclusion of NYSEP 2026

NUST Placement Office successfully concluded the NUST Young Students Engagement Program 2026 (NYSEP-2026) with an inspiring closing ceremony held at NUST H-12 campus. The ceremony was graced by Chairman Moawin Foundation – Admiral (Retd.) Mohammad Asif Sandila, as the Chief Guest, alongside Pro-Rector Research, Innovation & Commercialization, Dr. Rizwan Riaz, distinguished guests, industry partners, faculty members, parents and participating students.
This year, over 170 students from across Pakistan participated in the transformative two-week program. Designed for students of Matric/O Levels and F.Sc./A Levels, NYSEP provided young participants with early exposure to university life, cutting-edge research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry engagement.
Throughout the two-week journey, students gained firsthand exposure to diverse academic disciplines through immersive sessions at SNS, SMME, SCME, NBS and SEECS. The program combined hands-on laboratory experiences, interactive workshops, faculty mentorship and project-based learning, enabling students to explore diverse academic and career pathways.
A defining highlight of NYSEP 2026 was the introduction of the NYSEP Hackathon, launched in collaboration with AdVentures Studio to foster innovation, entrepreneurship and problem-solving among young students. The Hackathon brought together 16 teams competing across three rounds, culminating in an exciting Grand Finale evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges.
Through NYSEP 2026, NUST continues to provide young students with meaningful opportunities to discover their potential, experience university life, engage with academia and industry and develop the curiosity, confidence and skills needed to become the future leaders and innovators of Pakistan.
