NUST Secures Prestigious British Council DIP Grant for Disability Inclusion in Higher Education
NUST thrilled to share that under the highly competitive British Council Disability Inclusion Partnerships (DIP) Grant, a consortium of universities including NUST, Coventry University (UK) and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU, UK) along with six associated partners including all national centers of Pakistan (NCAI, NCRA, NCBC, NCCS, STEP, NFWWD) has been awarded £25,000!
This prestigious grant has been awarded to Dr Sara Baber Sial (Principal Investigator) and Dr Alison Halford (Principal Investigator) from the Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling (CSM), Coventry University; and Co-Principal Investigators Dr Nabeel Anwar from NUST SMME, Dr Farah Rashid from NSHS and Dr Fayyaz from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Out of a total 5 grants in 4 countries (Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Kenya and Pakistan) NUST has secured one! The project (Learning4All – A Framework for Disability Inclusion in Research and Education) focuses on disability inclusion in higher education, delivering key outputs such as a high-level study, co-created inclusion principles, disability-inclusive curriculum resources and capacity-building through TOT to promote gender-sensitive inclusivity.
This achievement highlights NUST’s commitment to global collaborations and advancing inclusive education.
