NUST Secures Third Position in the National “Fly Your Own Plane” Competition

NUST secured an impressive third position in the national “Fly Your Own Plane” competition at TAAKRA 2025, hosted by UCP Lahore. Represented by a four-member student team from SMME (Aerospace), Ikhlas Jamshaid (team lead), Muzzamil Riaz, Abdullah Qureshi and Muhammad Saad, the team participated in the competition for the first time, competing against 48 teams from across the country. With guidance and support, the team successfully designed and manufactured their aircraft, which achieved an outstanding endurance of 22 minutes during the mission.
