NUST SMME Hosts 8-Week Skill Development and Technical Vocational Training Programme
NUST School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME), along with the Manufacturing Resource Centre (MRC), hosted the 8-week skill development programme and technical vocational courses. The aim of the programme was to impart theoretical knowledge with hands on trainings of specialized technical trades including Machining, Electrician, and Welding, to the unskilled youth.
The technical vocational courses are held every year at SMME (MRC) during the Summer Camp. Till the year 2025, 648 students successfully completed hands-on training through various courses.
