NUST Students Achieve First Runner-Up at Prestigious APICTA 2025

NUST proudly congratulates students from the Department of Computer and Software Engineering, CoEME, NUST under the BIOMISA Lab for securing First Runner-Up at APICTA 2025. It is one of the most prestigious international technology competitions across 16 member countries.

The team showcased OsteoScreen, an AI-driven osteoporosis screening application developed as an affordable and accessible alternative to DEXA scans. The team, including Alishba, Eman, Rabaha, and Zeeshan (CoEME Batch 2025), was supervised by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Usman Akram, and co-supervised by Dr. Ayesha Haque (NSHS) and Dr. Arslan Shaukat (BIOMISA, NUST).
