NUST to set up Career Launchpad Programme in partnership with TeamUp & NIC

A Career Launchpad Program will soon be established at NUST, in partnership with the National Incubation Center’s young innovators and seed fund-focused partner Teamup.

NUST has entered an agreement with TeamUp this week with Pro-Rector Research, Innovation & Commercialization Dr Rizwan Riaz and Project Director NIC Mr Parvez Abbasi being the signatories on the memorandum of agreement.

Career Launchpad is a career accelerator program for recent graduates and young professionals to bridge the skill gaps in the workforce and teach entrepreneurial skills. A diverse group of young people is recruited for this 3-month program. Individuals are expected to pay a fee of PKR 3000/month. Students with financial issues will be allowed to register for the program at no charge. Those students enrolled in the Career Launchpad program who do not find a job within 3 months of graduation will receive a refund for the training sessions they attended.
