NUST wins National Debating Championship held by HEC

We are proud to announce that NUST has bagged the 1st Position in the English Debate Contest in the National Round of Pakistan Universities Debating Championship (PUDC) 2021-22, organised by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).

The winning team comprised our brilliant students Wardah Shakil Khan from Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB), and Ayaan Shehryar and Mirza Faisal Hayat from the School of Social and Humanities (S3H). The students are also members of the NUST Debating Society under the official supervision of the Student Affairs & Counselling Directorate of NUST.

The National and final round of the Championship was held last week at the HEC Secretariat, following the regional rounds held earlier in five regions of the country, including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and ICT/AJK/Gilgit-Baltistan.
