NUSTians Honoured with Prestigious Civil Awards 2025

Dr Sarah Qureshi (CEME 2000), the first female graduate of Mechanical Engineering and CEO of Aero Engine Craft, received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on March 23, 2025, in recognition of her groundbreaking contributions to Aviation Technology.

Prof Dr Usman Qamar has been conferred with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his outstanding work in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The NUST Family extends heartiest congratulations to Dr Qamar for his unwavering dedication to advancing technology and innovation.

Maj Gen Dr Saeed Ur Rehman Sarwar, Director General Projects at NUST, has been conferred with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) in recognition of his exceptional service and contributions.
