Principal RIMMS Dr Hammad M. Cheema awarded “major R&D grant under HEC’s CPEC-CRG” for the project “SafeRail”
Dr Hammad M. Cheema, principal NUST Research Institute for Microwave & Millimeter-Wave Studies (RIMMS) has been awarded a major Research & Development grant under HEC’s CPEC-CRG for the project “SafeRail”.
SafeRail, aims to utilise modern Radar technology and artificial intelligence to improve safety of Railway locomotives and tracks. The project consortium includes NUST SEECS & SMME, FAST-NU Islamabad & PAF-IAST Haripur as well as international collaborators from Zhejiang University, China and TU Ilmenau, Germany.
