Prof Dr Yasar Ayaz honoured with PEC Excellence Award

We are proud to share that Prof. Dr. Yasar Ayaz, Chairman National Center of Artificial Intelligence and Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at NUST, has been awarded the PEC Excellence Award by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), in recognition of his ‘extraordinary contribution and services to the engineering profession.’

Recipient of the Pride of Performance Award in 2021, Dr Yasar Ayaz is the Founding Head of the Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at NUST. He is the P.I. of the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Engineering (R.I.S.E.) Lab of NUST. He has authored over 130 international publications and has 3 product design patents registered, with several more in the review process.

The Conferment of the PEC Excellence Award took place at Aiwan-e-Sadar on October 18, 2022.
