Secretary of Board of Investment (BOI) Visits NUST

The Secretary of Board of Investment (BOI), Ms Fareena Mazhar, along with Additional Secretary BOI Mr Khashih-ur-Rehman called on AVM Dr Rizwan Riaz SI(M), Pro Rector (RIC) NUST & Vice President National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) at NUST Islamabad Campus.

During her visit, Secretary BOI appreciated the work of NSTP team & extended full support of BOI in exploring avenues of collaboration with NSTP. Inaugrated in 2019, NSTP is Pakistan’s first Science & Technology Park which holds the status of a high-tech Special Economic Zone (SEZ). It is currently houses more than 60 companies ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to multinationals.

BOI, besides being the apex investment promotion agency of Pakistan, is the secretariat for SEZs.
