SMME students shine bright at ASHRAE RAL Quiz Competition 2021

American Society of Refrigerating & Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Region-At-Large (RAL) organised an international online quiz competition in which 56 ASHRAE members from student chapters of 7 countries participated. Two students from NUST School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) took part in ASHRAE RAL Quiz competition 2021. Muhammad Uzair Asif secured first position and Syed Ammad Sohail made it to round 2 of the competition bagging a cash prize of 500 USD and 50 USD respectively as well as a membership renewal. The quiz was conducted in 3 rounds and 8 students from ASHRAE Northern Pakistan Chapter, including 2 from ASHRAE NUST SMME, took part in the international competition.
