S&T sector head of Islamic World Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization visits NUST
Professor Dr Raheel Qamar, Head of the S&T sector at the Islamic World Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization (ICESCO) visited NUST on January 19, 2021.
Upon arrival, the delegate attended a comprehensive briefing on NUST. The meeting specifically entailed an introduction to NUST as a research-led university contributing to the national science & technology goals. Ensuing was a discussion on building collaboration vis-a-vis student and faculty exchange, joint research projects, capacity building through NUST’s artificial intelligence platforms, internships under NUST Internship Programme for International Students, technology transfer, etc.
The visiting delegate highly appreciated NUST’s performance and facilities provided for its faculty and students to ensure quality teaching, learning and research, and expressed gratitude for facilitating his visit to NUST.
