SAPM Usman Dar discusses digitalisation of Kamyab Jawan Programme by NUST
A delegation comprising of officers from Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and Kamyab Jawan Programme, headed by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Mr Usman Dar visited NUST on January 17, 2022, for a detailed meeting with Rector NUST Engr Javed Mehmood Bukhari and Pro-Rector Research, Innovation & Commercialisation AVM Dr Rizwan Riaz. Matters related to the establishment of Kamyab Jawan Markaz in NUST and the digitalisation of the programme came under discussion.
Director Marketing & Communications Mr Shaukat Hayat briefed the dignitaries about NUST. General Manager Placements Ms Arooba Gillani briefed the dignitaries about Kamyab Jawaan Markaz (KJM) initiative and digitalisation of the programme which includes the development of the web portal and subsequently, the development of a mobile application.
SAPM Mr Usman Dar and Rector NUST agreed to explore other avenues of collaboration between NUST and KJMP. Both parties agreed that NUST will offer consultancy and development services for the digitalisation of the programme.
Rector NUST further offered to develop the physical presence of the program inside NUST which was accepted by Mr Usman Dar who offered to arrange the funds for the development of the physical as well as the digital infrastructure of the programme.
The visiting delegation also visited the National Science & Technology Park and was briefed about the facility by the NSTP team.
