Frequently Asked Questions (MBBS Admissions - FAQs)

Admissions in NSHS will be purely on merit, based upon the MDCAT conducted by NUMS.

Foreign students can apply to MBBS Programme at NSHS on the basis of NUMS MDCAT, SAT-II or foreign MCAT / UCAT score.

Pick and drop service is provided to students of Rawalpindi and Islamabad only with specified routes, for which the student has to pay separate charges. You will be guided to avail the facility during the orientation session.

As per PM&DC Regulations, a student can pay the tuition fee in installments on a quarterly, six monthly or annual basis, with a discount of 0% on quarterly, 2% on six monthly and 4% on annual basis. Necessary details will be incorporated in the fee invoice.

NSHS is a constituent school of NUST. The MBBS degree will be awarded by NUST.

Admissions will be announced in electronic and print media as per NUMS and PM&DC Policy.

Classes for MBBS programme will commence as per PM&DC guidelines.

You can apply for admission on the basis of NUMS MDCAT only.

The student will be admitted to the MBBS programme on payment of tuition fee in quarterly or six-monthly installments.

The facility will be available both for boys and girls as per the NUST SoP. The students are requested to apply for the same on confirmation of selection.
