Admissions NSHS Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

Any student applying for admission in MBBS Session 2024-25 at NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS) shall be eligible having fulfilled the following criteria:

  1. Obtained SSC & HSSC or equivalent with 60% marks.
  2. Have passed NUMS MDCAT – 2024 with 55% marks.
NUMS MDCAT 2024:
  • For Local Students, they must have passed NUMS MDCAT – 2024 (Where “local student” means a student who has passed FSc / HSSC or equivalent in Pakistan).
  • For Foreign Students, mandatory requirement of NUMS MDCAT – 2024 shall not apply.
HSSC:
  • For Local Students: Must have obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate qualification (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification recognized in Pakistan, having obtained 60% marks therein, or a higher percentage with Biology & Chemistry as mandatory subjects. The student might have qualified either Physics or Mathematics in HSSC or an equivalent 12th grade examination.
  • For Foreign Students: Students qualifying SAT-II with minimum score of 550 in each subject or a foreign MCAT examination or UCAT examination with 50% marks in the subjects.
  • Students who appeared in NUMS MDCAT – 2024 ONLY are eligible to apply for admission in MBBS programme.
