Mr Salman Babar was awarded scholarship during Sep 2007 for the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden under NUST Faculty Development Programme for MS leading to PhD in Automotive Engineering. He had signed a bond to serve NUST for 03 years after completion of his MS but he failed to complete his MS degree and join NUST to fulfil his bond obligations.

Till date, the scholar has neither joined back NUST nor refunded the amount spent on him, which makes him defaulter of the Government of Pakistan.
