Mr Zaheer Abbas Khan was awarded scholarship during Apr 2005 for University of the West of England (UWE), UK under NUST Faculty Development Programme for PhD in Computing/Semantic Grid. He had signed a bond to serve NUST for 05 years after completion of his PhD but he did not join NUST to fulfill his bond obligations.

Till date, the scholar has neither joined back NUST nor refunded the amount spent on him, which makes him defaulter of the Government of Pakistan.
