General Merit Generation Criteria for UG Admission on NET basis

​NUST Entry Test ​75 %
​SSC / O Level / equivalent ​10 %
​HSSC (Part-1) / HSSC / A level * / Equivalent / DAE 15 % 

* O/A Level candidates who are in A Level (final year) will be assigned 25% weightage to their O Level equivalence marks as per equivalence certificate issued by IBCC, Pakistan.

Merit Generation Criteria for Admission on ACT/SAT basis

For National Seats:- 

 
​​ACT / SAT Score ​75 %
​​SSC / O Level / equivalent ​10 %
​HSSC (Part-1) / HSSC / A level * / Equivalent / DAE 15 % 

 

 * O/A Level candidates who are in A Level (final year) will be assigned 25% weightage to their O Level equivalence marks as per equivalence certificate issued by IBCC, Pakistan. 

For International Seats:- 

 
​​ACT / SAT Score ​100 %

Note:

  • However, requirement of SSC & HSSC / equivalence qualification with more than 60% marks is mandatory as per eligibility criteria.
  • NUST will not be responsible if result of HSSC / equivalent exam or ACT / SAT is not declared in time.
