MERIT CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION ON NET BASIS
Final merit for admission in UG programmes will be prepared by assigning weightings as follows:
Engineering and Computer Science

* O/A Level candidates who are in A Level (final year) will be assigned 25% weightage to their O Level equivalence marks as per equivalence certificate issued by IBCC, Pakistan.

Note:
- The above policy is subject to change.
- The merit for BS Applied Biosciences will be compiled on the basis of complete FSc result.
- The merit of candidates of Pre-Medical background, seeking admission in Engineering by taking exam of additional math, the result of which is awaited, will be calculated on the basis of FSc Pre-Medical result.
- It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide the academic record in time to the University, as per the deadline.
- NUST will not be responsible if result of HSSC or equivalent exam is not declared in time.
