UPDATES ON UG ADMISSIONS

For Candidates of NET-2024

• Registration for NET-2024 (Series-4) will remain open from 14 Apr to 14 Jun 2024. Tests will be conducted at Islamabad from 24 Jun 2024 onwards.
• NUST is offering following new UG programs from Fall 2024.
  • BS Artificial Intelligence at SEECS, Islamabad
  • BS Environmental Science at SCEE, Islamabad
• Candidates having HSSC with Mathematics as one of the major subject will be eligible to apply for Computing Programmes (BS Computer Science, BS Data Science, BS Bioinformatics and BS Artificial Intelligence)
• Candidates with FSc Pre-Medical / equivalent qualification enrolled in Computing Programmes without taking additional math exam have to clear deficient Mathematics courses of 6 credit hours, within one year.
• In the light of PEC regulation No PEC/EAD/46-VCCM/Regulations/2003 dated 30 March 2023, students having combination of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Studies / Computer Science (ICS) or equivalent are eligible to apply for admission in all the Engineering programmes with a condition to clear Chemistry as a remedial subject / course in the 1st Semester after admission.
• Foreign nationals (Non Pakistani) can also apply on the basis of NET in addition to ACT/SAT basis. For details, please visit International Students.
• As per HEC directive, all candidates including Matric / FA / FSc Stream have to get their educational documents attested from Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), Pakistan before submitting the same to university at time of admission.

For Candidates of ACT / SAT basis

• ACT / SAT based Application Form – 2024. Registration will commence from May 2024.
• Candidates who have registered for ACT/SAT based application form have to provide ACT/SAT score as per following:-

NUST institutional code to receive ACT score is 2915.

NUST institutional code to receive SAT score is 2790.

          ACT / SAT scores are valid for two years.
