UPDATES ON UG ADMISSIONS

For Candidates of NET-2027

  • Registration for NET-2027 (Series–1) will commence from 4 Oct 2026. For details, visit https://nust.edu.pk/admissions/undergraduates/dates-to-remember/.
  • BS Robotics and Artificial Intelligence will be introduced w.e.f Fall 2027 at SMME, Islamabad and CoEME, Rawalpindi.
  • BS International Relations will be introduced w.e.f Fall 2027 at CIPS, Islamabad
  • In light of PEC regulation No. PEC/EAD/49-GB/004/2024 dated 11 July 2024, NUST has designed an online self-paced mandatory Mathematics course of 8 weeks duration, for FSc Pre Medical students (who did not take additional math) and are applying for Engineering programs. The students applying for NET-2027 must complete the course before 25 Jul 2027 and must secure 60% marks to become part of the merit for Fall 2027 entry. To register for the course, please visit https://connected.nust.edu.pk/course/view.php?id=186. Such candidates will appear in NET-Engineering.
  • Candidates with FSc Pre-Medical / equivalent qualification enrolled in Computing Programmes without taking additional math exam have to clear deficient Mathematics courses of 6 credit hours, within one year.
  • In light of PEC regulation No. PEC/EAD/46-VCCM/Regulations/2023 dated 30 March 2023, students having combination of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Studies / Computer Science (ICS) or equivalent are eligible to apply for admission in all the Engineering programmes with a condition to clear Chemistry as a remedial subject / course in the 1st Semester after admission.
  • Foreign nationals (Non Pakistani) can also apply on the basis of NET in addition to ACT/SAT basis. For details, please visit International Students.
  • As per HEC directive, all candidates including Matric / FA / FSc Stream have to get their educational documents attested from Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), Pakistan before submitting the same to university at time of admission.

For Candidates of ACT / SAT basis

  • Candidates who have registered for ACT/SAT based application form have to provide ACT/SAT score as per following:-

For candidates taking ACT Exam of April 2025 onwards.

  • ACT Composite Score (Consisting of Maths, English and Reading only) with minimum score of 25.
  • Science portion with minimum score of 25.

NUST institutional code to receive SAT score is 2790.

          ACT / SAT scores are valid for two years. ACT superscore acceptable.
